CINCINNATI – A Walnut Hills man was conscious and talking after being shot in the head Sunday afternoon in Hartwell.
Initial reports of the incident at 211 Sheehan Avenue were called into Cincinnati police at about 1 p.m.
The man was talking to neighbors when the 911 call was made, according to dispatchers.
It was not clear who shot him, or why.
He was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
Officers have yet to identify the victim and are searching for suspects in the case.
