CINCINNATI – International bragging rights are on the line Saturday when pyrotechnics teams from around the world compete at Coney Island Amusement Park in Fire Up The Night, the second annual international fireworks challenge.
The event, which features international teams from France, Portugal and Italy, begins at 8:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 21.
Gates to the park open at 3 p.m. Admission, which includes parking, is $30 a carload. In addition to the fireworks, Coney’s classic rides and live entertainment will be on tap.
Following the international competition, event producer and Cincinnati's own Rozzi Famous Fireworks will set off a thundering finale.
