As relief workers and governments race to get aid to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan, one local brewery is doing what it can to help the Philippines.

MadTree Brewery is hosting a fundraiser for the American Red Cross on Tuesday night.

Co-owner Kenny McNutt said 100 percent of the draft sale proceeds will be donated to the Philippines disaster relief effort.

MadTree said its distributor, Cavalier, approached them about doing the event and they quickly sign onboard.

McNutt said the beers on tap for the event will be: Rubus Cacao, Unhappy Amber, Everything Went Black, Dead Flowers, Pilgrim, the Gnarly Coffee and Gnarly Vanilla; along with ThunderSnow, Kolsch, Identity, PsycHOPathy, and Happy Amber.

The event will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. MadTree said Maribelle’s Tavern will be providing food for the event.

MadTree is located at 5164 Kennedy Ave. For more information call 513-836-8733.
