CINCINNATI -- How do you make kings look larger than life? As it turns out, you make them larger than life.

Giant puppets and the artistry behind them are the creative backbone of Madcap Puppets' "Amahl and the Night Visitors."

This is the second annual rendering of "Amahl" for Madcap, which again has teamed with the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, contemporary dance outfit Pones Inc. and the voices of Xavier University's Edgecliff Ensemble, along with several operatic soloists.

This video takes you inside a rehearsal and behind some of the artistic motivations and choices from Madcap's directors.
