CINCINNATI -- Olympic ice dancing champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White made an appearance at Procter & Gamble Co. headquarters Monday, helping to launch a new soft pack container for the Puff’s brand.
Fresh off their appearance on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars —which Davis won after White was eliminated in the semi-finals —the duo said they were on their way to separate vacations in Hawaii and haven’t decided whether they’ll continue to compete for the U.S. in figure skating.
“It’s opened up a lot of opportunities,” said White. “First and foremost for us, I think education is the most important thing, so we’re looking to finish our undergraduate degrees.”
Both are students at the University of Michigan, where Davis is studying anthropology and White is pursuing a political science degree.
Davis and White grabbed some social media attention while in town. The Puffs brand tweeted a look at White’s new, shorter hair style, while the CVG Airport tweeted a photo of Davis and White meeting with fellow Olympian and Lawrenceberg, Ind. native Nick Goepper at the airport.
