CINCINNATI -- A man charged with murder after a fatal shooting more than a year ago in Mount Airy is scheduled to appear in a Hamilton County courtroom Monday to begin trial.
Police say Demetrius Dennis, 23, killed Cedrick Taylor, 42, at the Providence Point apartments in the 5800 block of Renee Court about 6 p.m. on April 8.
Taylor was shot in the abdomen and found in front of the apartment building.
Dennis has been held on a $1 million bond since his arrest.
He is expected in court at 9 a.m.
