CINCINNATI -- Thank you Tri-State! You helped us collect thousands of toys and make a difference for families across the Tri-State.

9 On Your Side hosted a toy donation drive at nine area Kroger locations on Saturday, Dec. 14 to collect gifts for those in need this holiday season.

With your help, we exceeded our goal to collect 9,999 toys!

All donations will be given to certain agencies throughout the Tri-State, such as Child Focus in Clermont County, Salvation Army, United States Marine Corps 'Toys for Tots,' Be Concerned, Santa Maria and the Brighton Center in Northern Kentucky.

Originally scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7, the toy drive was postponed a week to Saturday, Dec. 14 due to a winter storm.

Holiday Toy Team 9 celebrated its third year by collecting the toys at three new locations. This expansion aimed to help more charities throughout our community and give back to those families who need a little extra help this year.

9 On Your Side anchors, reporters and other staff members were stationed at various locations to personally thank you for making your donation in helping a family this holiday season.
