MASON, Ohio -- A 16-year-old Ursuline Academy student died Tuesday from injuries she received in a crash last week.

Jordan A. Hoak was one of two people injured in the crash on Western Row Road at Lexington Park Drive at about 7:20 a.m. Friday in front of Christ Church in Mason.

Hoak was taken by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital with serious injuries after the crash. She was pronounced dead Tuesday.

The driver of the second vehicle, Dustin Wilson of South Lebanon, was taken by ambulance to Bethesda North Hospital. There is no word on the extent of his injuries.

“We know that her family and her friends are drawing strength from the prayers coming from the Ursuline Academy community and our many friends,” Ursuline Academy wrote on its Facebook page Monday. “Thank you to everyone for your support and keep the prayers coming.”

Hoak participated in Ursuline’s track and field program, according to roster information.

Students of Ursuline and members of the Mason community where Hoak lived are tweeting messages of support for Hoak and her family by using the hashtags #ripjordan and #UAstrong.

Authorities at the crash scene Friday said the vehicle Hoak was a passenger of was the most damaged.

The crash remains under investigation.
