MASON, Ohio – Just in time to distract residents from winter doldrums, owners of The Beach water park announced they are adding two new attractions in 2014.
A 400-foot long, four-lane mat racer ride and a zipline will be featured at the water park, The Beach’s general manager Ralph Vilardo Jr. told the Dayton Daily News.
Under new ownership for the second season, Park operator Adventure Landing is investing about $1.5 million in the attractions and a new restaurant before the park’s May 17 opening.
“We want to reassure our customers, both new and old, that The Beach is back, it’s bigger and better than ever. It still has real sand, real surf, real palm trees and it’s going to have real new rides,” Vilardo said.
