David B. Moore, 73: Village of Greenhills
Population: 3,600 approx.
Claim to Fame: Greenhills is one of three 1930s federally built "Greenbelt towns" on the National Historic Register. It is totally surrounded by a county park. This year is the 75th anniversary of the village.
Mayor David B. Moore grew up and went to school in West Virginia, and graduated college with a degree in education. He taught school briefly and came to Cincinnati as a management trainee for General Electric in 1966.
After moving to Greenhills in 1972, he joined the volunteer fire department. In 1974, Mayor Moore went to work for the Village of Greenhills and retired in 2008 as the village manager. In 2010 he returned as interim manager for a brief time. Last year a group of local Republicans approached Moore and encouraged him to run for mayor.
He was elected was elected in November 2013 and began his term in January 2014.
The salary of mayor is $3,200 per year.

4. What do you hope is different about Greenhills in ten years?
In ten years I hope we have a budget surplus, an upgraded shopping center, and improved schools all while maintaining our unique, friendly and safe town.
5. What are your political aspirations?
No other political aspirations than to be the mayor of our town.
