The tickers were purchased by Kroger, P&G and other corporations so the Bengals playoff game against the Chargers wouldn't be blacked out on local television. The companies decided to donate the tickets to vets.
The veterans lined up early Saturday morning to take part in the giveaway.
Despite the cold, lines began forming early Saturday morning at area Kroger stores, as active and veteran military personnel lined up for free tickets to Sunday's Bengals playoff game.
