Tyler Renners took the opening kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown and CHCA (2-0) never looked back, beating Reading (1-1) 28-7.
Renner found the end zone again on a 6-yard run eight minutes later to make it 14-0.
At that point the Eagles began to dominate the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. They held the Blue Devils to 30 yards of total offense in the first quarter. Reading finished with minus-2 yards rushing on the night.
The pressure got to quarterback Jacob Blair as he threw four interceptions to Jonathan Allen, Trento Pfister, Bobby Mumma and Jonah James of CHCA.
Even on offense everyone was getting into the act. Junior Cameron Murray had 13 receptions. He has 22 receptions for more than 240 yards in the first two weeks.
Nick Marsh moved the chains frequently with his runs up the middle. Mumma also had a touchdown reception. Kyle Davis took one snap from center and shot 18-yards down the left side to the end zone for the Eagles final score.
CHCA will host Indian Hill (0-2) who lost to Madison Senior 20-6, The Eagles beat Madison Senior, 48-6 in Week 1. Reading looks to rebound as they host upstart Purcell Marian (2-0)
