When did you start working here? April 1999

Where else have you worked? WFTV Orlando, Florida
WPTV West Palm Beach, Florida
WCJB Gainesville, Florida

Where did you got to college? Mississippi State University and the University of Cincinnati

What are you most proud of when it comes to your work? I am most proud - more honored - to get to associate myself with great organizations that do awesome work in our community. Some of these include Big Brother/Big Sisters, City Gospel Mission, Shepherds Crook Ministries and the Arthritis Foundation to name a few.

What are you most proud of in your own life? There is no greater satisfaction in my life than being a dad. It is, by far, the toughest but most rewarding job and I am so very proud of both my son and daughter. Thank God for my wife for being such a great example as a parent.

What do you love about living in the Tri-State? I was born and raised in Cincinnati and believe it is one of the greatest places on earth to raise a family. I lived away for a number of years while serving in the United States Air Force and while working as a meteorologist in Florida. I love many things about those other places but there truly is 'No place like home".

What are your favorite local hangouts/places, sports & cultural institutions?
-Die hard Reds fan
-Cincinnati Bearcat through and through
-Could eat Skyline every day and sometimes do
-Ideally follow it up with Graeter's ice cream - Coconut chip and mint chocolate are my favorites
-Huge fan of our city and county parks and can often be found running or biking the Loveland Bike Trail or the loop at Miami Whitewater Park

All time favorites? MASH is my all-time favorite show and I still watch it wherever I can find it as I fall asleep...followed closely by ER.

My favorite movies of all time are Shawshank Redemption followed closely by Field of Dreams. I actually took my family on a summer vacation to Dyersville, Iowa to visit the site of the movie and played on the field.

My musical tastes are too varied to pin down but I love to find great music from talent musicians that most people haven't heard of. Right now, I am listening Ben Sollee, Jonathan Kingham, Bare Foot Truth, Andrew Peterson, My favorite singer/songwriter of all-time is Rich Mullins who died in a car crash in 1997.

Other than 9 On Your Side and WCPO.com, you get your news from: I get all the news I need or want everyday at my job.

Apps you can't live without? Pandora, MLB.com At Bat, Happier

Tell us more!  I have started and completed 3 marathons and countless shorter road races. I am a tennis player and athlete for life. I dream about riding my bicycle across the country and telling stories along the way of the people I meet.
