Road crews worked extra hard overnight Saturday to clear snow and ice after Mother Nature ripped through the the region Friday afternoon.
Several accidents slowed or affected traffic in and around the city throughout Friday evening. By Saturday morning 9 On Your Side's Kendall Herold reported many of the main roads were clean, with the exception of a few slushy spots around busy intersections and interstate ramps.
Where problems did exist? Parking lots. At 6 a.m. crews were out cleaning lots, but they still had a lot of work to do.
In Kentucky, Covington police have CLOSED the Roebling Bridge in both directions due to icy conditions. No timeline has been given for when the bridge will reopen. The area was further affected by by ramp restrictions on southbound Interstate 71 at Fort Washington Way.

The weather is also changing some bus routes. As of 10:30 p.m., the following Metro routes are on detour:

AAA Cincinnati said that from 12 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, they received more than 1,050 calls for help from motorist.
