CINCINNATI -- The southbound lanes of I-71/75 of the Brent Spence Bridge reopened Monday afternoon after being closed for hours due to a semi crash.
The crash was first reported at about 4 a.m. Monday. Officers said the crash involved two vehicles and a semi.
Vehicles were allowed off the bridge at about 4:45 while police rerouted traffic.
Investigators said the semi overturned and spilled a load of beer onto the bridge. Covington Police said the truck was carrying tens of thousands of gallons of Bud Light at the time.
The driver was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center for minor injuries. The other two drivers did not suffer any injuries.
