For the second day in a row, we've seen temperatures topping 80 degrees. Sunday's high was 84. The average high for this date is 76. The mercury will fall to 65 tonight under partly cloudy to mostly clear skies. Memorial Day will continue to see temperatures in the 80s. The difference will be with rising humidity and the return of scattered showers and storms. It won't be a washout for your observances and outdoor festivities but watch out during the afternoon from 2 p.m through 7 p.m. for the bulk of those scattered showers to fall.
