This could be a bumpy weekend as rain and storms could turn severe. It's not going to surprise me if we go under a watch of one kind or another.
In the meantime, this evening will be a typical July night around here. You should expect a bit more humidity and warm temperatures hanging in the 70s. Clouds build in overnight. We can't entirely rule out an isolated shower, but most spots stay dry. The clouds keep us a bit warmer, with lows in the mid 60s.
Showers and storms are something we have to watch closely both Saturday and Sunday. There is a Slight Risk some of the storms may be severe both days. Heavy rain is also possible Saturday night into Sunday.
From our 9 On Your Side Severe Weather special, in the video player above are stories about preparing for severe weather, and staying safe when storms come.
