CINCINNATI - A Severe Thunderstorm Warnings issued for multiple counties across the Tri-State has been canceled.
The Warning expired at about 6:35 p.m. Saturday after causing power outages and damage across various counties in southwest Ohio, eastern Indiana and Northern Kentucky.
Duke Energy first started reported tens of thousands of outages when the storm first hit the Tri-State at about 5:30 p.m. Street flooding, downed trees and damage to houses was also reported in affected areas.
The counties included in the Warning area included:
Ohio: Southern Clermont and Hamilton counties. Hamilton County was in the warning area until 6:15 p.m.
Kentucky: Northern Grant, Gallatin, Campbell, extreme northwestern Bracken, Boone, northern Pendleton and Kenton counties.
Indiana: Ohio and Switzerland counties.
The National Weather Service in Wilmington said storm hazards for all affected areas included winds of up to 60 mph and quarter-size hail.
You are advised to seek shelter in a sturdy building and stay away from windows and doors until the storm has passed.
